Your first conference with Rehm Bennett
Moore is an
information session for you and for us. We find out about your injury and your case, you
find out about our firm and the way we handle cases like yours.
A first conference typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes or
so. We ask you to tell us what happened, using your own words and taking as much time as
you need. If you have some materials, such as accident reports, photographs or medical
bills relating to your accident or injury, it could be helpful to bring them along, but
this is not a necessity.
Once you have told us your story, we will give our
impression of the legal merits of your case and the likelihood of financial recovery. We
also will explain our usual procedures in handling such cases and answer any questions you
may have about our firm. At this time we can both decide if our firm will represent you.
About Our Fees
There is no charge for your first conference, whether
you proceed with our firm or not.
If our firm does handle your case, we normally work on
a contingent fee arrangement. This means we get paid for professional time only if and
when we recover money on your behalf. If no money is recovered no fee is charged. A
written fee agreement will establish the amount to be charged.
